My Brand New Lamp is Not Turning On

Your new lamp has been setup, you've screwed in the bulb, turned it on- and nothing happens! What now?

First, let's find out where the problem is originating from - the bulb, or the lamp. The easiest way to check this is to take a working light bulb (either a brand new one, or one that you have currently working in another lamp or socket) and put it into the socket that's not lighting up. You can also test out the bulb that isn't lighting up in another socket that you know works.

If the new bulb lights up in the lamp socket, we know that the original bulb was bad. If the socket still doesn't light (especially if the original bulb works in another socket), we know that the problem is with the socket on your lamp.

If you've determined that the bulb is defective, please contact us for assistance in either replacing the bulb for you under warranty or directing you on where to purchase a replacement.

If the socket is the problem, visit this article for a potential fix for the socket.
